In this build, only the Augmented Reality works are enabled on this app. Specifically, "Implied Spaces" and "Self-portrait 1.0" for Metagraphy exhibition at Deck Singapore and Taipei

SHENNANIGENLab is an artist app by Lim Shengen. The app is meant to access different works or tests made by the artist to be made available for everyone. The app will constantly be updated with new content, using technology as a platform for the arts.

Lim Shengen, Born 1981, gear his practice in a multidisciplinary manner. Seeking new presentations of traditional methods by exploring space, time, static and vibrational as aesthetic experiences. He is interested in contemporary media art and culture, using alchemist-like processes and engineering methodologies to bring new contemporary perspective into traditional practices.

His work has been showcased in Artscience Museum Singapore, Singapore Art Museum, Singapore Fringe Festival, Institute of Contemporary Arts Singapore, Alliance Francaise - Singapore, Kanto Gallery – Philippines, Sunshine Museum of Contemporary Art - China, ‘2e Biennale internationale de I’image de Luang Prabang – Laos and Salford University - United Kingdoms, Sunshower – Mori Museum, Tokyo, Japan. Being based in Korea, his exhibitions includes The Stranger, Loop Gallery, Flow International Performance Festival, Golmok Gallery – Seoul, On Video, Hongik University – Seoul, Ulsan Art Center and 7th Guemgang Nature Art Biennale and Asia Culture Center - Gwangju.

He attended the Graduate School of Culture Technology in Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) as an engineer researcher with Experience Lab and Interactive Media Lab. He also attended LASALLE Collage of the Arts, graduting with a BA(Hons) in Fine Arts Painting. He is a member of The Artist Village (Singapore), Daejeon Arts Collective (Daejeon, South Korea), Axis of culture (Transpacific arts collective).
